4-Year MD Program: Aureus University School of Medicine offers an intensive 4-year MD program in Aruba designed for students who have completed a Bachelor’s Degree or the necessary premedical requirements.

Basic Medical Sciences

Clinical Clerkship (Minimum 72 Weeks):

  • Third Year: Clerkships in Internal Medicine (12 weeks), Surgery (12 weeks), Pediatrics (6 weeks), Psychiatry (6 weeks), Obstetrics (6 weeks), and Gynecology (6 weeks).
  • Fourth Year: 24-30 weeks of electives across various specialties.

Core Rotations:

  • Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Family Practice (durations as noted above).

Electives:

  • 24-30 weeks in fields of the student’s choice, enhancing clinical and diagnostic skills.
