Rolling admissions for January, May and September intakes. Two MD pathways, competitive tuition, and 18 merit scholarships awarded each year.

Step 1
Holistic Review
We evaluate scholastic record, demeanor, communication skills, language proficiency, and commitment.
Step 2
Comprehensive Documentation
Personal Essay highlighting volunteer/community service, plus 2 Letters of Recommendation.
Step 3
Premedical Requirements
4-Year MD: 1 yr General Biology/Zoology, 1 yr General Chemistry, 1 yr Organic Chemistry. Recommended: Physics, English, Math, Humanities/Social Sciences.
Step 4
Transfer Students
Accepted from accredited medical schools, subject to transcript evaluation.

5-Year MD Program
For high school graduates
- Pre-Med Year (48 weeks): Biology, General & Organic Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English, Medical Terminology, Introductory Anatomy, Histology, Physiology and Medical Psychology.
- Years 2–3 · Basic Sciences: Identical organ-system MD1–MD5 curriculum delivered on the Aruba campus.
- Years 4–5 · Clinical Sciences: Core and elective rotations across the US — completing the same MD degree as the 4-Year track.

Student Visa
Aureus recommends obtaining a student visa, even though entry to Aruba is possible with a valid passport or green card. The process can be initiated before or after arrival, with support from the Aureus admissions office.
Required documents for DIMAS
- • Copies of all passport pages
- • Original and notarized copy of the birth certificate
- • Health certificate from a family doctor (bloodwork not required)
- • Declaration of finances for study and living expenses by parent / student
- • Notarized record of good conduct from the local police department
- • Police clearance certificate

Accommodations: Students can select their own accommodations and transportation or seek assistance from our student housing coordinator, which is available to help through the process. On-campus dormitories are offered on a first-come, first-served basis to new students.

A pathologist, professor, and Departmental Director of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, he has served as Chairman of Rampure Radiology Associates in Windsor, Ontario, and President of Mississauga X-Ray Services.
Today he is Chairman & CEO of Canadian Global Healthcare & Education, Inc., and President of HealthHeal Inc. in Bangalore — an educator, academician, administrator, and policymaker guiding Aureus toward a tailored, student-first model of medical education.
